What is the E-2 Visa?

A US visa for citizens of treaty countries, including Germany, Austria and Switzerland, who invest in a US business and run it themselves. It can be renewed for as long as the business runs, and your spouse and unmarried children under 21 can come with you.

How can I get it?

Start or buy a genuine US business, put a substantial investment at risk, and show that you will develop and direct it. There is no fixed minimum; the amount is measured against what your business costs. Most applicants apply at the US consulate in their country of residence, and each consulate has its own procedures and document requirements.

Where to file

Why do you only handle one visa?

The E-2 is where our two passions meet: business and advocacy. We love helping entrepreneurs build something of their own in the United States, and handling one visa only lets us do it thoroughly. I went through the procedure myself, so I know what it asks of you.
